Welcome to the Tally Ho! – A Community Run Village Pub in Hampshire

Rescued and lovingly restored by volunteers in 2025, the Tally Ho! is a historic 300-year-old English village pub, proudly run by our local community. When the opportunity arose to reopen the pub local residents came together with a shared passion to save this treasured landmark. Through tireless hands-on restoration work, and unwavering community spirit, volunteers transformed the Tally Ho! into a thriving hub once again. Every brick, and bar stool carries the story of those who gave their time and energy to preserve its legacy. Today, it stands not only as a place to eat and drink but as a testament to what a united village can achieve.

Our Story

Saved by the Community, Loved by All

Closed for over three years, our 300-year-old village pub was brought back to life by local volunteers who still serve behind the bar today. It’s a story of community spirit, shared history and good beer — keeping the heart of Broughton alive.
